Midsummer Premonitions

On June 1, the temperature in Seoul soared to 29°C, setting a record daytime high for the year so far and granting a glimpse of the coming midsummer season. High school students in school uniform are cooling down by playing barefoot in the ground-level fountain at Seoul Plaza. The KMA (Korean Meteorological Administration) predicts that the heat wave will continue into the weekend.
