The Assembly Legislative-Judiciary Committee decided on the 20th to include a clause in the Medical Reform Bill concerning the voluntary dispensing of light-sensitive intravenous drugs and to effectively ban the voluntary and alternative dispensation of medicine targeted by the bill.
In a plenary session with Minister of Health and Welfare Cha Hong-Bong, the Committee eld an
interpellation session concerning the Medical Reform Bill, which was passed by the Ministry of Health and Welfare. Following an open debate on the revisions by the Assembly Health-Welfare Committee and the participants, the bill was accepted and submitted to the National Assembly.
As both the ruling and opposition camps have already agreed to resolve the Medical Reform Bill
during the extraordinary session, the passage of the bill is certain regardless of the either party`s objections.
