Due to the rainfall this time, a total of 942 houses and 10,264 hectares got submerged, causing a damage of worth 604 million won.
The rain clouds are slowly going south, pouring down a lot of rain on Chungchong-do, the Honam area, Kangwon-do, and Northern Kyonggi Province, and these areas are anticipated to suffer from damages.
In the Kyonggi area, the rainfall stopped early in the morning on July 23, and emergency flood relief work got started.
