Asiana Airline`s Manila, Philippines branch office manager, Kim Kyong-han, was found murdered in the parking lot of Taalvista Hotel, 40 km from Manila, in the morning of July 31, 4 days after he was reported missing. Kim¡¯s slightly decomposed body was found in the back seat of his Santamo wagon, with a bullet wound in the head.
Kim was reported missing after he went out, saying, "I am going to play golf with my colleagues from foreign airlines", in the afternoon on July 27. Until now, various theories were raised as to his absence, such as abduction or disappearance.
Mr. Kim had recently telephoned his elder brother saying, "The person who lent me money is demanding it back". This indicated that he was killed by someone with whom he had an outstanding argument. According to the results of a local police investigation, Mr. Kim had a debt of approximately 500 million won, and July 27 was the deadline for him to repay about 150 million won of the total.
