President Kim Dae-Jung and Japanese Prime Minister Yoshiro Mori will hold a "hot-spring" summit.
Kim, who is scheduled to visit Japan on September 22-24, will stay overnight in Tokyo on the night of September 22 and will hold a summit with Mori the next day in Atami-ro of the Shizuoka Prefecture.
Atami is well-known for its magnificent hot springs. Although the offices of the two leaders had planned to hold the summit in Kyoto, a new venue for the talk was suggested and chosen as per the request of Prime Minster Mori.
"It would be good to loosen our neckties and have an open-minded discussion," Mori said.
