As the Chuseok holiday begins in less than a week, chairman of the ruling Millenium Democratic Party, Suh Young-Hoon has begun caring for the people. Chairman Suh visited the market place in Youngdeungpo and talked to merchants about the prospects of price and economy for the Chuseok Holiday.

The Supreme Public Prosecutors Office to investigate for corruption after the Chuseok holiday.

The Supreme Public Prosecutors Office announced on September 3 to go after the existing and former management and employees of companies under workout, composition and receivership for corruption from the latter half of the week after the Chuseok holiday. An official of the Supreme Public Prosecutors Office revealed that the office has secured numerous evidences of misappropriation, embezzlement and other criminal activities after analyzing the management information obtained from the Financial Supervisory Commission on 400 insolvent companies. The official asserted that the office will soon confirm the target companies and notify the working-level prosecutors. The official added that most of the companies with 500 Million to 1 Billion won of bad loans will be included in the investigation.
