A total of 200 separated family members from South and North Korea, 100 from each side, will visit each other's capitals Thursday for two nights and three days, meeting with their long-lost relatives for the first time since the national division five decades ago.

The South Korean visitors gathered at the Hotel Lotte World in Chamsil, southern Seoul, Wednesday afternoon, and received an orientation program for their trips to the North. They are scheduled to leave for Pyongyang at 9 a. m. Thursday via a direct chartered Korean Air flight.

The North Koreans will arrive in Seoul at around 12:30 p. m., aboard the same Korean Air passenger jet that transports the South Korean visitors.

The South and North Korean visitors are scheduled to have two-hour group reunions from 4 p. m. Thursday and two separate meetings and luncheons Dec. 1, so that they will be with their separated family members for a total of six hours during their exchange visits.
