Ex-soccer star Kim Ju-Sung debuts as emcee

Kim Ju-Sung, former national soccer team member, will make his debut as a master of ceremonies for the "World Cup Special," a late-night program on MBC starting from 1:20 a.m. Saturday.

Kim will work with announcer Bang Hyun-Joo every week on the program, having signed an exclusive contract with MBC to serve as a soccer commentator.

"World Cup Special," intended to boost interest in soccer ahead of the 2002 World Cup, will feature highlights of national soccer team games, soccer news, profiles of foreign soccer players and teams, and highlights of overseas games.
