Former South African president Nelson Mandela will visit South Korea next week on the first leg of a trip that will also take him to Germany and India. Mandela will meet with President Kim Dae-Jung on Monday and brief him on the latest developments in Africa, including his role as a mediator in efforts to end a seven-year civil war in Burundi. He also will attend a dinner hosted by the Korean government during his stay here. After leaving Seoul, Mandela will visit Germany on Mar. 13 and India on Mar. 16.
