Salvage ships use cranes to support the S.S. P 36, the world`s largest oil rig, which is threatening to sink following an explosion in the Atlantic Ocean, 150 km off the coast of Brazil. In a bid to keep the rig afloat, rescuers filled it with nitrogen gas to drain an estimated 4,100 tons of water. The explosion on the 33,000-ton oil rig, which is the height of a 40-story building, killed one worker and injured nine others.
