Jung never disappointed her team.
Shinsegae`s pillar, Jung Sun-Min, who had shown the inactive performance due to the injury in her right ankle in game three, fought right and left as if she has never had an injury, recording 19 points and 11 rebounds.
She had a hidden card up her sleeve. Jung failed to wipe out the pain with the strong analgesic shot in the previous game, but she reportedly was treated by the new pain-reliever that the NBA players currently use. Shinsegae, whose destiny is totally dependent upon Jung`s condition, sent an SOS to Dr. Seol Joon-Hee (54) who possesses the special pain-reliever, and Dr Seol pleasantly accepted the request. Dr. Seol was once a basketball player, and is currently teaching at Yonsei Medical School, undertaking the head of Basketball Department in Yonsei University.
Thanks to the special pain-reliever, `the core of team`s offense` Jung Sun-Min revived, and nothing could block the march of Shinsegae.
Resurrected from the edge with a precious win, Shisegae Coolcat made the championship round a brand new start.
In game four of the championship round, Shinsegae defeated 68-63 Hyundai Hyperion with a stable play supported by Jung Sun-Min.
Both teams tied at 2 wins and 2 losses, and will decide an owner of the summer league crown in a final game.
After taking the first lead at 22-19 with a three-point shot by Yang Jeong-Ok from right side of the court just before the end of the first quarter, Shinsegae has never allowed the reverse. In the second quarter, Jung Sun-Min and Jang Sun-Hyung trampled down Hyundai`s paint zone, and Shinsegae increased the lead to 50-40 on two shots of Lee On-Joo from downtown.
Hyundai made 28 field goals, 6 more than Shinsegae (22), but tasted the bitters, allowing 24 free throws.
