``Please just return Sol to us. Anyone can get into a car accident.``
South Kyongsang province, Changnyung-koon, Yoo-Uh-myon, Chinchangni. This is the parents` desperate plea after their daughter Han Sol (10, Yoo-Uh Elementary School, 3rd grade photo) was hit and taken away by the driver`s party on October 5.
Ms. Han was hit by a car on October 7, around 4 pm. She was hit on route 1022 while on her way to a friend`s house in Kuhma Village, approximately 100m away from her town.
Ms. Byun (8, first grader, elementary school), a witness who saw the incident while going to her relatives, said, ``I was inside when I heard a loud `bang.` When I went outside, I saw a woman and a man getting out of their car and putting one child into the backseat. They drove away after that.`` Ms. Sung (66), a resident in the same village, gave a contradicting account, saying, ``It was two men who got out of the car.``
Ms. Han`s hairpin and shoes were found at the crime scene and there was blood on the road.
Ms. Han`s father, Mr. Sung Kwon (32, agricultural business) and mother Mrs. Kwon Nam (32) said, ``The people who took Sol away have not contacted us yet. We won`t pursue any course of action if they would only return Sol.`` Ms. Han`s grandmother (58) and great grandmother (86) were also deeply distressed and are waiting for any news of Ms. Han.
