Frequent Yellow Wind and Drought in This Spring.

It is forecasted that there will be frequent yellow wind and severe drought due to less precipitation, as compared to common year, in this spring.

Meteorological Observatory stated through "forecast of spring season." on 22nd, "it seems that precipitation would be less than common year (190~513mm) and spring drought will continue following last year due to influence of migratory anticyclone in this spring." and "especially rural area should prepare for water shortage."

Also, yellow wind will be frequent as high temperature and dry weather will continue in inland areas of China, in case of common year it used to happen once in 3.3 days.

March temperature will be similar to common year (6~14 degrees Celsius) or little high and in April, May, there will be one or two times heavy rain in Southern region due to the influence of low pressure belt, however, there will be less precipitation and much dry weather in middle region.

Meteorological Observatory official said, "temperature will be little higher than common year, however, there will be big temperature change like in May, there will be temporary cold weather due to influence of low pressure belt which comes from East Africa."
