No Substitute Except for `Sunshine Policy`

President Kim Dae-Jung on the 1st said, “we should prevent the war that might burn what we have constructed during that half a century to ashes. We should keep peaceful existing and exchange on the basis of strong security and Korea-U.S. alliance. ”

At the 83rd ceremony of March 1 Independence Movement at Sejong Center, President Kim addressed, “we could hardly look forward to the World Cup games, economic progress or happiness of the people, if our peace is threatened and we face the threat of war, ”

And President Kim added, “the goal of the Sunshine Policy is peaceful reunification after 10 or 20 years’ peaceful existing and exchange waiting for ripe opportunity. The reason every countries in the world support the Sunshine Policy is that there is no substitute at all. ”
