Korea and England Agreed to Joint Research over 8 Subjects Like Nano Technology

Korea and England agreed to carry out joint research over 8 subjects selected from biotechnology, nano technology, energy, environment, and space science.

Chae Yung-Bog Minister of Science and Technology (MOST) had 6th Korea-England Science Technology Conference in London, England on the 24th(local time), and agreed to the exchange of information and joint research on the core technology of the next generation. MOST announced that it would select representative research institutions from both countries for the efficiency of the research, and let them lead the study.

An official of MOST said, “England has accumulated the knowledge on biotechnology as it had born cloned lamb Dolly, and is a great power in fundamental science competing with Japan for the second to America in SCI that the combination of fundamental science of England and nano technology of Korea would create great synergies. ”
