“Peruza Has No Dominium of Ahn Jung-hwan”

The president of an Italian professional football club, Peruza, Luciano Gauchi said on the 13th, “We are ready to submit Ahn, Jung-Hwan to disciplinary action, such as salary and appearance suspension if he does not perform his duties of the 3 year extended contract period.

The president Gauchi said at the interview with an Italian sports newspaper Corier Dello Sport, “We sent the transfer fee of 1.6 million dollars to Busan, so we got to have the dominium of Ahn Jung-hwan until the June of 2005,” and he insisted, “Ahn, Jung-Hwan must honor his duties and come back to Italy and play under the direction of coach Cerce Cosmi.”

The president Gauchi kept denying the fact that he criticized Ahn Jung-hwan about his golden goal at the overtime that eliminated Italy at the World Cup and stressed, “Ahn Jung-hwan is a Peruza player, and we do not have any plan to transfer him.”

However, the Busan I’cons officials, in response to that, turned down the Peruza’s claim and said, “Peruza violated the contract first, so we have the dominium of Ahn Jung-hwan.”

Busan stressed, “It takes 2 to 3 days to reach Korea if one send money from Italy, so we did not receive the transfer fee yet, and the contract with Peruza is over regardless of their sending the money or not,” and “Peruza should have sent the transfer fee until June 30th according to the contract.”

Busan is planning to clear the relationship with Peruza by asking and confirming Ahn Jung-hwan’s position to FIFA.
