We will support Korea, the strong country for CDMA, to make enter its global market
Jacobs (68), the chairman of Qualcomm possessing sourcing technology of CDMA, visiting Korea at 30th, and looked excited for the performance of CDMA industry in Korea, China, etc.
Mr. Jacobs visited Korea to greet Lee Sang-chul, the Minister of the Ministry of Information & Communication, who the president of KTF. He handed an appreciation plaque to the minister and promised for technological to Korean companies to extend global market.
He, particularly, mentioned Considering Koreas excellent skill in the commercialization of CDMA, It is qualified to cooperate with Qualcomm in wireless LAN that increases sharply recently in volume. However, he didnt mentioned at all about sensitive issues such as the deduction of loyalty, Koreas independent forwarding for the standard of wireless Internet, etc.
After the visiting the Ministry of Information & Communication, Mr. Jacobs met Lee Kyung-jun, the President of KTF, to discuss about corporation. He visited Korea with two sons, Paul and Jeff who are responsible for wireless Internet and foreign market. He was going to stay until 31st and visiting Pyo Moon-soo, the President of SK telecom, but left to the next destination, China, because of Typoon.
