LG Electronics, Recruiting Session in Universities of US

LG Electronics has concentrated on a foreign recruiting.

This week, LG Electronics had the recruiting session in the American universities and the executives of the company met the hired students studying in the United States directly. It has focused on the special management.

Ku Ja-Hong, a vice-president of LG Electronics visited the US Stanford University and had the meeting with hired graduate students of LG Electronics during Chuseok period. Graduate students and PhD students majored in an electrical and electronic engineering were recruited through overseas students recruiting in May, and will work at LG Electronics Institute of Technology and Digital TV Research Institute after graduation.

The vice president Ku explained the organizational culture and recruiting policy of LG Electronics and the investment plan on R&D to them, and discussed about the digital new technology with students. LG Electronics plans to hold the recruiting session in major universities of US such as Harvard University, MIT, Princeton University, Wisconsin University and Michigan University.

Also, there are a lot of recruiting activities for brand name universities of the world such as China, Russia, India and Vietnam. LG Electronics will recruit 170 overseas talented people among total 2500 new employees this year.
