Internet Subscribers Enjoy the Animation through TV

The high-speed internet subscribers have started to enjoy the service which provides the animation such as a movie through TV connected to PC as well as PC.

KT said on October 10, “We will start the Home Media (http://homemedia.megapass.net) service for KT Megapass subscribers.

This service will be charged from November 11 after one-month pilot service from October 11. KT has developed TV mode which converts PC screen which the internet subscribers use into TV screen to see the movie and animation in the high resolution state.

KT explained that it has solved the problem of small screen and low resolution indicated as the disadvantage of the existing VOD service.

To use the service, the equipment of Converter wireless sender/receiver (KRW 160,000 ~ 260,000) must be separately installed.

In terms of service charges, KT has considered the latest movies for KRW 3,000∼4,000 per movie.

KT said “We will provide the various contents of Japanese animation series and language program.
