Plutonium Fuel Rods in N. Korea

Inspectors from the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) are looking into spent fuel rods sealed in protective cases. Under the 1994 Geneva Treaty signed between Pyongyang and Washington, some 8,000 spent fuel rods were separated from the frozen reactor in Youngbyon and have been sealed in protective metal cases under the watchful eyes of IAEA surveillance cameras.
