“Ten Channels of Television Can Be Watched by the Mobile”

The broadcast of television turned out to be watched by a mobile phone at a real time.

On the 12th, the KTF announced that it would provide the broadcast of television of 10 channels by the `Fimm`, a third generation multi-media wireless service.

The officer related to the KTF said that the channels, the services of which would be provided from the 4th, included the KBS1, KBS2, MBC, SBS, iTV, MBN, KMTV, On-game Net and Channel V Live and added that it would continue to add a new channel.

It is the first time for the channels including the ground wave and the cable to be provided at a real time although there was a case that some programs downloaded and the channel of cable TV were provided at a real time. The KTF will add an undisclosed video of singer Seo Tae-gi, a model of the `Fimm`. .

This service can be utilized by such a mobile phone for the exclusive use of the `Fimm` as V3000, the price of which will be at about 600,000 Korean Won, manufactured by Samsumg Electronics Co., Ltd. and to be introduced on the 14th. The KTF announced that additional about twenty kinds of mobile phones for the exclusive use of the `Fimm` would be released in the market.

On that day, the KTF introduced the system of fixed fare for the exclusive use of the `Fimm`. The `Fimm` 240 can be used unlimitedly for the wireless data including the broadcasting service at a fare of 24,000 Korean Won per month. And afterwards the data of 124,000 packets corresponding to the volume of video for 60 minutes can be used.
