Some 2,800 students at Dongduk Women’s University in Seoul gathered in the school assembly hall on the afternoon of December 29. They held a vote to decide whether or not to return to their classes. By a majority of votes, students decided not to return to class, and it became unavoidable for the students to be held back collectively.
