Cheney Visit Korea Next Month

The Vice President of the United States Dick Cheney will visit Korea in mid-April.

A government official said on Friday that Vice President Cheney is invited by the Korean government to make a two-day visit to Korea on April 15th and that he will stop by Japan and China before arriving in Seoul.

During his stay, Cheney will meet the acting president Goh Kun and minister of foreign affairs and trade Ban Ki-moon to discuss pending issues, including the North Korea nuclear issue, the relocation of USFK bases, and the construction of new U.S. Embassy building.
