North Korea Also Issuing Dokdo Stamp Early Next Month

The Dokdo (an island in the East Sea) memorial stamp which North Korea will issue early next month. It includes a picture of Dokdo together with a map made in 18th century showing Dokdo as a territory of the Chosun dynasty in the background. The sales agency for this stamp explained that the focus of its design was on showing that “the island has been our territory since olden times.. There are small whole sheets, including a circle stamp, with a face value of 110 North Korean won, and two types of whole sheets, which include three stamps of three, 12, and 106 North Korean won respectively, and an attached tag. The stamp will be sold in South Korea too.
