“Seven Former Communist Countries Welcomed In NATO”

On March 29, U.S. President George W. Bush (middle) has invited the seven summits of the newly registered NATO countries such as Latvia and Slovenia to the White House. In his welcome address, Bush emphasized that the former followers of the Soviet Union have become the current “Equal Companion.”
