Broken Promise by North Korea

Prime Minister Chung Won-sik (left) and North Korean Prime Minster Yeon Hyung-muk are shaking hands after exchanging the “Joint Declaration on the Denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula” at the Sixth South and North Korea senior-level talks in February 1992. The non-nuclear declaration took effect from that day.
