U.S. Weekly Standard Publish Korean Government`s Refuting Article

The Weekly Standard, a news weekly known for its neo-conservative voice, covered an article from the South Korean government in its new issue of December 20, which reached the market on December 11. The article is in the op-ed section and is to refute the argument of Nicholas Eberstadt, a senior researcher of the American Enterprise Institute.

The refuting article is posted in the name of a spokesperson at the South Korean Embassy in Washington, Oh Soo-dong. In the article, the Korean government argued that Eberstadt’s article titled “Tear Down This Tyranny” in the November 29 issue prompts American interference with South Korea’s national affairs and that the article also supports irresponsible military action against North Korea.
