Shah Putra is Saved

Waving frantically towards the Malaysian cargo vessel is Rizal Shah Putra (left), a tsunami victim of last December, who was swept from the Aceh Province in Indonesia and floated on the Indian Ocean for nine days. Mr. Shah Putra collapsed in relief after being hauled up onto the ship. The photo was taken by the captain of the vessel.
