An ad poster for Marithe and Francois Girbaud, a French jeans wear company parodied the Last Supper, a masterpiece of art by Leonardo Da Vinci. On March 10, a French court banned the advertisement on the ruling that it trivialized a historic event of Christianity and ordered that all posters on display should be taken down within three days. The authorities in the Italian city of Milan also banned the poster last month.
