“What a Beautiful Island!”

“As I have come here and taken a look, it’s really a beautiful and dignified island.” Sixty tourists finally arrived in Dokdo on Monday, five days after the off-limit restriction was removed. Sambong, the name of a 106-ton ferry operating between Uleungdo and Dokdo, could not reach the disputed island due to high waves for two days, but finally made the landing. The tourists, waving national flags in sheer joy, are posing for photographs with Gomi and Mongsiri, dogs raised by the Dokdo guards.
