Greenpeace: Environmental Pollution Caused by High-tech Products Is Serious

On May 23, an activist from the environmental activist group Greenpeace is examining computer waste near the Hewlett-Packard (HP) office in Geneva, Switzerland.

Greenpeace is taking an active part in monitoring the smuggling of high-tech product parts containing a large amount of poisonous materials, such as mercury, lead, and cadmium, to India and China.
