Seoul Recapture Anniversary Still Generates Excitement

The ceremony for the 55th anniversary of the recapture of Seoul was held at 10:00 a.m. on September 28 at Gwanghwamun Square in front of Gyeongbok Palace in Seoul. War veterans and Korean and U.S. soldiers attending the event are saluting the national flag.

The ceremony was organized by the R.O.K. Marine Corps that was visiting Seoul and that hoisted the national flag on the rooftop of Central Government Complex.
