Korean Newspapers Available in Germany

Dong-A Ilbo is available for delivery at exclusive hotels in the 12 German cities hosting World Cup games.

At Leipzig Marriott, Korean national team players unpacked their luggage and grabbed a fresh Dong-A Ilbo to read about World Cup news and their stories. The newspaper heralded: “Zidane, no longer a great mountain,” quoting a remark made by Kim Nam-il at an interview. All this was made possible by the service of Newspaper Direct, who prints out 64 newspapers from all over the world onsite. Dong-A Ilbo is the only Korean paper on its list of clientele alongside New York Times, The Times (U.K.), Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, and various newspapers from all around the world.

The service is available at most exclusive hotels that represent each of the twelve cities. In Frankfurt, the Intercontinental Hotel and Arabella Sheraton feature Newspaper Direct service.
