The truth behind the case of two dead infants will be disclosed soon. In July, two infants were found in a refrigerator at a house in Seorae village, Southern Seoul.

The police investigated three or four women close to the owner of the house, a French businessman, 40, known as C. The police suspect one of them is the mother of the babies.

A source in the police said, “Now we almost know the mother’s identity. The DNA test result from the National Institute of Scientific Investigation (NISI) will make big progress possible in the investigation of the case.”

The police had requested the NISI to examine the belongings of the women. The results are expected to come out early this week.

Researchers of the institute said, “We are conducting the tests one more time to make sure they are accurate,” implying they are expecting to get results soon.

The police are looking into whether another woman stayed in the house as the businessman’s wife left the house long time ago.

According to the police, his wife does not seem to be the mother of the babies because a maid who worked at the house said she had not seen the wife pregnant.

Even if the investigators find who the mother is, they need to question the Frenchman further to reveal the full truth. So, they are urging him to return through various channels.

The police are also focused on the fact that the French businessman did not took fish he had ordered to the market for two days and returned them because they were rotten, but reclaimed them later and put them in the refrigerator to find the infants.
