Strike

On August 28, members of the Ssangyong Labor Union are taking a nap on the cars on a stopped assembly line during their strike in Pyeongtaek headquarters. As the provisional labor and management agreement on canceling restructuring and freezing wages was voted down on August 25, management announced its layoff plan and the labor union raised its strike level by blocking managers’ access.
