Andromeda

This image of the Andromeda Galaxy, which is close to the galaxy to which the solar system belongs, is a composite from those photographed by NASA`s Galaxy Evolution Explorer and the Spitzer Space Telescope. The stars represented in blue are young ones, while the ones in green are relatively older. The red areas found by the Spitzer are dusty regions where stars are yet to be formed.
