The commemorating event of the 61st anniversary of the foundation of the Federation of Korean Trade Unions (FKTU) was held at the convention hall of the FKTU in Yeouido, Seoul on March 9. Five presidential candidate nominees, former Gyeonggi governor Sohn Hak-gyu (Grand National Party, GNP), former Seoul Mayor Lee Myung-bak (GNP), former Uri Party chairman Chung Dong-young, former GNP chairwoman Park Geun-hye, and former Uri Party Chairman Kim Geun-tae (from the left) gathered together. They said hello to each other before taking seats, but they kept silent during the event. It is interesting to see that they looked away at different places even when they sat together.
