Senator Edward Kennedy, the brother of John F. Kennedy, officially announces his support for Barack Obama as next U.S. President at American University in Washington on Monday.

Senator Kennedy is accompanied by his niece, Caroline Kennedy (right), the daughter of the late president, who has already endorsed Obama. Rep. Patrick J. Kennedy, Senator’s son, is also present, waving his hand.
