Commemorating the 40th anniversary of the death of Rev. Martin Luther King Jr., wreaths are placed at the National Civil Rights Museum in Memphis, Tennessee. On April 4, 1968, the civil rights activist was shot to death by James Earl Ray, while he was standing on the second floor balcony of the then Lorraine Motel.
