Serena Williams of the United States (world No. 6) was unbeatable, stopping Zheng Jie of China (World No. 133) in her tracks in the semifinal.

Serena beat Zheng 2-0 (6-2, 7-6) at Wimbledon held at the All England Club Friday and will take on sister Venus (World No. 7) for the championship title.

Zheng Jie, who beat no.1 Anna Ivanovich of Serbia, was leading Serena 6-5 in the second set and led her 40-30 in the sub-game to bring up a set-point but lost in the tie breaker.

The Williams sisters made it into the final without losing a single set.

Recent Wimbledon matches have been all about the Williams sisters. Except for twice, the sisters have claimed all titles since 2000. Venus won the title in 2000, 2001, 2005, and 2007, and Serena won in 2002 and 2003. In 2004, no.2 Maria Sharapova of Russia and no.33 Amelie Mauresmo claimed the title.

Venus, aiming for her fifth championship, has shown outstanding performance, particularly at Wimbledon. She has advanced seven times into the final in the past nine years. Venus won six times in the Grand Slam including Wimbledon and Serena won seven times. Venus won more at Wimbledon but her sister is ahead of her in her track record of eight wins and seven defeats. Serena won in the 2002 and 2003 finals. The 2003 Wimbledon was the last time the sisters matched in the final game.
