GM Daewoo Halts Production

With GM Daewoo suspending production at its plant in the Bupyeong district of Incheon yesterday, neither its employees nor subcontractor vehicles can be found at its main gate. The Korean unit of troubled U.S. auto giant General Motors is the first Korean company to halt production due to the global financial crisis.
