The global auto industry is embracing a cold winter. Staff hold a rally to renew their commitment to overcoming the economic crisis at Hyundai Motor’s plant in Ulsan Wednesday (left).

The signboard “Ford” is taken down at a Ford dealership in Michigan Tuesday (middle). The dealership has been selling Fords for 63 years, but returned its license due to sluggish sales, and plans to reopen as a used car dealer with a new name.

In Nagoya, Japan, where Toyota is based, workers who used to work as outsourced staff hold a street rally to protest the carmaker’s decision to reduce outsourced workers. One worker holds a banner reading, “Toyota must keep our employment (right)."
