New Giant Leap Forward

The Chinese national flag and coat of arms enter yesterday at the 60th anniversary celebration of the People`s Republic of China in Beijing. Declaring a “new China” amid the devastation of its civil war 60 years ago, China has emerged as a superpower rivaling the United States. A military parade and attendance by around 100,000 people made the event both confident and grandiose.
