This photo shows the hospital room at Severance Hospital in Seoul where Kim Ok-gyeong, Korea’s first case of euthanasia, is hospitalized. Her first son-in-law, Shim Chi-seong, tends to her. Despite being declared medically dead, Kim has breathed for 174 days without a respirator.
