Three women who lost their husbands or children in a flash flood caused by North Korea in September visit a sand island Monday on the lower part of the Imjin Bridge in Yeoncheon County, Gyeonggi Province. The North made an unannounced discharge of water that led to the drowning of six South Koreans. After putting a dried pollack and sprinkling three cups of rice wine on the sand, the women performed prostrations but could not finish their second round of prostration due to heavy emotion.
