After meeting South Korean Deputy Foreign Minister Lee Yong-joon at the Foreign Affairs and Trade Ministry in central Seoul, U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for East Asia and Pacific Affairs Kurt Campbell tells reporters Wednesday, "The U.S. welcomes the South Korean government’s effort to resume inter-Korean dialogue. North Korea’s return to the six-party talks is the most important issue.”
