Flooding in Southern China

Massive flooding due to torrential rain has hit 10 southern provinces of China, including Jiangxi, from early this month. The disaster left 199 people dead and 123 missing as of 11 a.m. Tuesday. In addition, more than 25 million people suffered flood damage and around 200,000 houses were destroyed. The photo shows a village flooded by an overflowing river due to a destroyed embankment in Jiangxi Province Monday.
