Mortal Combat in Beijing

The SportAccord Combat Games 2010, an international martial arts and combat competition, opened Saturday in Beijing and will run through Sept. 4. More than 1,000 fighters from 60 countries have gathered in the Chinese capital to compete in 13 major disciplines including taekwondo, judo, kickboxing, kendo, wrestling, muay Thai, karate and sambo.
