Korea’s 1st High-Speed Electric Car

President Lee Myung-bak drives Korea’s first high-speed electric car BlueOn at the presidential office Thursday. BlueOn is the world’s second high-speed electric vehicle made for mass production. It can run 140 kilometers (87 miles) on a single charge and accelerates from zero to 100 kilometers (62 miles) per hour in 13.1 seconds, with a maximum speed of 130 kilometers (80 miles) per hour.
