1,017 pairs of shoes

People tie pink ribbons on white indoor shoes and put them on the shelves of a sculpture at Yongsan Station Plaza in Seoul Friday. The Gender Equality and Family Affairs Ministry organized the event to mark "International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women" by hanging up 1,017 pairs of indoor shoes, the same as the number of minors who suffered sexual violence last year.
